Greg Lucyshyn, CPA

Greg Lucyshyn brings substantial experience across individual, corporate, and expatriate taxation to his role at BNC Tax & Accounting. Over the course of his career, Greg has worked with clients across a wide range of needs from personal 1040s and estate filings to complex corporate compliance for globally mobile individuals and businesses. He is particularly adept at helping clients navigate foreign entities, tax treaties, and international reporting obligations.

Before joining BNC in 2019, Greg held senior finance and accounting positions in both North America and Australia. As a Vice President and Finance Manager at QBE North America, he oversaw IFRS and statutory reporting across five countries and 15 entities, including $4 billion in divisional revenue. He later led global consolidation systems efforts at QBE’s Sydney headquarters. Greg also has experience advising startup ventures and managing expatriate tax services for clients in Europe and Latin America through his work with LDC Consulting.

Greg holds a Master’s degree in Accounting Information Systems and Tax and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, both from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Michigan and a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter. He is also a member of the AICPA.

Greg maintains his expertise through ongoing continuing education, with a focus on cross border tax dynamics and tax efficient structuring. His grounded, steady approach to advising is shaped in part by his early life growing up on a family farm, where he developed lasting values around financial responsibility and long‑term planning.

Fluent in English and professionally proficient in French, Greg brings a global mindset and practical insight to every client engagement. At BNC Tax & Accounting, he plays a key role in both client services and technical review, supporting the firm’s reputation for clarity, accuracy, and thoughtful international tax support.
