Joris Hoendervangers

Joris Hoendervangers is the Chief Technology Officer at BNC Tax & Accounting, where he oversees the firm’s technology infrastructure and digital tools. He holds an MSc in Financial Management and a BSc in Business Studies from Tilburg University, as well as additional studies in Business Administration at San Diego State University. His academic background reflects a strong foundation in business strategy and operational decision-making.

Early in his career, Joris worked at Reuters, where he gained insight into the technology and data systems underpinning major financial institutions. This experience shaped his understanding of how robust, well-designed systems support accuracy, security, and scalability in complex financial environments.

At BNC Tax & Accounting, Joris is responsible for researching, evaluating, and implementing the software platforms the firm relies on day to day. His work ensures that technology supports both internal efficiency and a smooth client experience. A key contribution has been the development and ongoing optimization of the client portal, which has enabled the secure upload and management of more than 65,000 documents.  In previous roles, he also supported colleagues’ in strengthening their programming skills, reflecting his commitment to sustainable, well-supported teams.

 

Joris is known for his reliable and productive approach, as well as for the many internal trainings he has delivered, often receiving strong appreciation from colleagues. He finds particular satisfaction in building a sustainable business alongside his wife, Christie, grounded in shared values, complementary strengths, and a long-term view of the firm’s growth.
